Enter the Halloween Dimension through the spooky portal at spawn. Find the Phantom Express and use a Phantom Express Ticket to access the train. It arrives every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour, and takes you to the new area that unlocks Spectral Mutation.

Capture Ghosts and Collect Souls
Use the ghost vacuum to capture ghosts and collect Souls. Keep collecting until you have 500 Souls, enough for one consumable exchange.
Trade 500 Souls for One Consumable
Exchange 500 Souls for one Spectral Mutation consumable. The trade is guaranteed: the exchange gives you the consumable. This does not guarantee that your egg will receive Spectral when you use it.
Apply the Consumable to an Egg
Apply the Spectral Mutation consumable to the egg you want to mutate. Each application has a 25% chance for the egg to successfully receive Spectral Mutation.
A successful application gives the egg the x2.75 Income Multiplier. A 25% chance does not guarantee success within four attempts.
How Spectral Stacks With Other Mutations
Mutation bonuses stack by adding each bonus above the base x1. Spectral contributes 2.75 − 1 = +1.75.
For example, Spectral plus Golden (x2.5) gives:
1 + 1.75 + 1.5 = x4.25
