Get a Free Star From the Shooting Star Event
Every night has a rare chance to trigger a Shooting Star event. When it happens, the sky turns dark and a Shooting Star falls from above.
If the event appears, every eligible player in that server receives one free Shooting Star. You do not need to win a race or compete against other players for that free event Star.
There is one important eligibility rule: you must be in that server from the start of the in-game day. Joining a server after the day has already started does not qualify you for its Shooting Star event. For the same reason, server hopping to search for a Shooting Star does not work.
Buy Stars From Stellaris the Star Handler
If you want more Stars, visit Stellaris the Star Handler in the spawn area. The Star Handler sells up to five Shooting Stars per week, and your purchase limit resets every Saturday.

What Are Stars Used For?
To use a Shooting Star, select the pet you want to convert and apply one Star. The pet becomes mountable, then you can select it and choose Ride or Dismount. One Star is consumed for each conversion, and the choice cannot be undone.
