Mounts: Turn a Pet Into a Rideable Mount

Mounts are the headline addition in this Steal an Egg new update. Take a Shooting Star to a pet you want to ride and activate it on that pet. The pet becomes a mount that you can equip and ride around the world.

Each conversion costs one Shooting Star. The Shooting Star is consumed when used, and the conversion cannot be undone, so choose the target pet carefully. The announcement does not specify whether every pet type has identical mount behavior or whether some pets have special restrictions; verify the current interface before using a limited Star.

For the exact Star Handler location, weekly shop rule, confirmation step, and Ride/Dismount controls, read How to Mount Pets in Steal an Egg.

Shooting Stars: How the Night Event Works

Every night has a rare chance to trigger a Shooting Star event. When it occurs, the sky turns dark and a star falls from above. Every eligible player in that server receives a Shooting Star.

Eligibility matters: you must have been in the server from the start of that in-game day to receive the event reward. Joining a server late or repeatedly server-hopping to search for a star will not make you eligible for that day's Shooting Star.

Buy More Shooting Stars

You can also visit Stellaris the Star Handler to purchase Shooting Stars. The purchase limit is up to five Shooting Stars per week, and the limit resets every Saturday. Current bundles are 1 Star for 399 Robux, 3 Stars for 899 Robux, and 5 Stars for 1,399 Robux. See How to Get Stars in Steal an Egg for eligibility and shop details.

Nitro Race Event Every 30 Minutes

The Nitro Race starts every 30 minutes. Join other players in a race and earn Trophies, then spend those Trophies in the event reward shop.

Confirmed Trophy rewards include:

The announcement does not confirm the Trophy prices, the number of racers, or the exact race course. Follow the event menu and reward shop for the current details.

Win Pass and Five New Pets

Finishing in first place advances the Win Pass. The pass has five new pets to unlock through win milestones. Once unlocked, those pets can be hatched and used as exclusive race mounts.

This makes winning different from simply joining a race: participation earns Trophies, while first-place finishes are the confirmed route for Win Pass progression. If you want to turn one of the new pets into a mount, remember that it still requires a separate Shooting Star.

Halloween Dimension Preview and Update #9

Update #8 previewed the Halloween Dimension Expansion as a two-part event. The dimension is now open in Steal an Egg New Update #9: Halloween Dimension, with three biomes, 18 pets, Echo the Ghost Dog, the Phantom Express, and Candy Corn event eggs.

For previous content, including Enchanted Forest, Wisp quests, Butterfly Bloom, and Enchanted Essence, read Update #7: Enchanted Forest.
